Enjoy this Apple Sour Cream Pie with Crumble Topping for a unique and comforting dessert!

Tips for Making the Perfect Apple Sour Cream Pie

  • Choose the Right Apples: Use firm, tart apples like Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, or Braeburn for the best results. These apples hold their shape during baking and bring a delightful tartness that complements the creamy filling.

  • Use Cold Butter in the Crumble: For the perfect texture, keep your butter cold when making the crumble topping. This will ensure a crunchy, golden crust that won’t melt into the filling.

  • Bake Until Bubbly and Golden: Look for a golden crumble and bubbly filling as a sign your pie is done. If the edges of the crust start to brown too quickly, use foil to protect them.
